About Me

Hello! My name is Whitney and welcome to my book blog! I'm just starting to get things running so bear with me while I get the hang of this! 

I am a 21-year-old college student and I am currently studying history and english at a small college in New Hampshire. I love learning about different time periods and all of the different types of cultures in the world. I also have an obsession with anything french, which stems from being taught the language since I was in kindergarten. I've been to France only once but I had the time of my life while I was there and hope to go back soon. I live in USA on the east coast. Meaning that being out on the ocean and going to the beach are two of my favorite things. 

I also love music. That's where the title of my blog stems from actually! It's one of my favorite lyrics in a Jack's Mannequin song, Bruised. Go check it out here! 

Anyway going to concerts and seeing my favorite bands and musicians is amazing for me. I've lost track of the number of concerts I've been to but I know it's a a lot. Some of my favorite bands and musicians are Fall Out Boy, Pierce the Veil, Ed Sheeran, The 1975, twenty one pilots, Paramore, Death Cab for Cutie, The Story So Far, and many more.

Reading has always been a passion of mine ever since I picked up Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone when I was in second grade.  I love books and I don't think that's ever going to change.

I mostly read Young Adult but sometimes it varies. Sometimes I'm in the mood to read non-fiction or adult fiction but no matter what I'm always in the mood for YA. My favorite series thus far are The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, The Darkest Minds, and The 5th Wave. I probably could list a few more….
